Jameel is providing updates on the situation in Lebanon. Here is what I said in the comments there:
Let the fire rain from the sky. Hit them hard, hit them often and let them remember that actions like this never happen without swift and severe retaliation. YAWP!
I don’t like having to take this type of position but history has proven that they view the withdrawal from Lebanon and Gaza as signs of weakness. And in their eyes this weakness serves as positive reinforcement to continue to conduct acts of terror and mayhem.
I do not believe that this problem can be solved solely through force, but sometimes you have to use it before you can return to diplomacy.

Outside of the Beltway asks about an Israeli exit strategy. It is a good question and I am not sure that there is an answer yet. I suspect that the situation is so fluid that it really hinges upon what kind of results the current efforts yield. I haven’t any problem with reminding the Lebanese that it takes time to rebuild an infrastructure. Support terror and you pay a severe price.

AllahPundit says that Hosni Mubarak has laid the blame for this at the feet of Baby Assad. In barbarian terms we suspect that he is about to be YAWPED!
